This note explains what happens to the details you send through this website. It is written to be read, not to hide behind.

Who we are

Trustline Water (Jenga Maji) is a WASH practice within Trustline Cyber & Cloud Group, based in Nairobi, Kenya. For the purposes of Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019, the group is the data controller for enquiries sent through this site.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us:

  • your name, organisation and role;
  • your email address and, if you provide it, your phone number;
  • the county or counties you mention;
  • the topic of your enquiry and your message.

We also receive standard server information such as the page requested and the time of the request. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site.

Why we use it

We use your details only to read and respond to your enquiry, to keep a record of the conversation, and to take steps you ask for before any engagement. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in a restricted file on the website server and, where email notification is configured, sent to the Trustline Water (Jenga Maji) mailbox. Access is limited to the people who need it to reply. We keep enquiries only as long as needed for the conversation and any resulting work, then delete or archive them.

Sharing

We do not share your enquiry with third parties unless you ask us to, or unless we are required to by law. If a conversation leads to work with a partner, we will ask before sharing your details.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2019 you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how it is used. To make a request, email info@trustlinecyber.co.ke. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

What not to send

Please do not send customer records, staff records, scheme financial data or other sensitive personal data through the contact form. If a piece of work needs documents, we will agree a secure way to share them first.

Changes

If this note changes, the new version will appear on this page. This version is dated October 2026.
